Communication Encryption at PressONE

Communication Encryption at PressONE

Voice Communication Security

PressONE takes communication security seriously, implementing robust encryption measures to protect our customers' voice communications:

SIP Signaling Encryption

We encrypt SIP signaling using Transport Layer Security (TLS), which provides:

  1. Secure communication setup
  2. Protection against eavesdropping
  3. Integrity of connection establishment

Audio Payload Encryption

In addition to SIP signaling, we encrypt the actual audio payload using Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP), which ensures:

  1. Confidentiality of voice communications
  2. Protection against unauthorized interception

Important Note: While we maintain encryption within our network and to our carrier, we cannot guarantee security once the communication is handed off to the last-mile carrier (mobile or landline provider).

Messaging Encryption

SMS Security

Communications between customers and our servers are encrypted

Encryption is maintained until delivery to the mobile carrier

Beyond our network, we cannot control the security of the message

Enhanced Secure Messaging Solution

We are currently implementing a comprehensive messaging aggregator solution that will provide:

      Unified secure messaging platform

      Support for multiple messaging protocols

      iMessage

      RCS (Rich Communication Services)

      WhatsApp

      SMS/MMS

      And much more

This single pane of glass approach will offer businesses enhanced secure messaging options and improved communication management.

Commitment to Security

PressONE remains committed to providing the highest level of communication security possible within our technological capabilities and network control.
