Instructions

  1. Long press the button on the base station till the registration LED slow flashes.
  2. Press the OK button on the handset to enter the main menu.
  3. Using the arrow keys highlight the icon and press OK.
  4. Go to Registration → Register Handset and press OK.
    1. If the handset display screen prompts “Press base page 2s then press OK”, long press on the base station until the registration LED slow flashes. Then press the OK soft key on the handset, select Register Handset.
  5. Select the desired base and press the OK soft key. The handset begins searching the base.
  6. Press the OK soft key after searching a base successfully.
  7. Enter the base PIN (default: 0000), and then press the Done soft key to complete registration

Alternatively:
The Base is the rectangular box you plug the ethernet cable and power into.  Then, you have a handset & charging cradle.  Here are instructions for getting the handset to find the base (with internet access):
  • On the base station, press and hold the registration/paging button until the registration LED flashes 
  • On the handset, go to the Menu and select Settings or Handset setup 
  • Select Registration or Register handset 
  • The handset will search for and display available base stations 
  • Select the desired base station and press OK 
  • Enter the base station PIN (default: 0000) and press Done 
If the handset is having trouble finding a base, you can try these steps:
  • Check that the handset is within range of the base station
  • Restart the base station by removing the power supply
  • Re-register the handset with the base station
