Hard Reload Browsers

Clear Cache & Hard Reload

Google Chrome

  • Open the page you want to reload.
  • Open DevTools: press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac).
  • Right-click the reload button (⟳) next to the address bar.
  • Select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload.”
  • Or clear cache manually: go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.

Microsoft Edge

  • Open the page you want to reload.
  • Open DevTools: press F12.
  • Right-click the reload button and choose “Empty Cache and Hard Reload.”
  • Or clear cache manually: go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data.

Tip: On most browsers, you can hard reload with:

  • Ctrl + F5 (Windows)
  • Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
