Increase Microphone Gain (volume) on Yealink Devices
Introduction
Sometimes Yealink phone users complain that the remote side of the call has difficulty hearing b/c the volume is too low. You can raise the microphone gain on the Handset, Headset or Handsfree (Speaker) by following these steps
Procedure
- Press the OK button on your phone and not the IP address of the device.
- Open a browser window and navigate to the IP address that you previously noted
- Enter the username and password (admin/773771) for most users
- Navigate to Features > Audio
- Change the Gain between -50 and 50 on any of the settings and test
